Back to School!

1st day of 8th grade!!

Today is the first day of the 2010/2011 school year!! I can't believe that Zeb is in the 8th grade! Where does the time go? I hope everyone has a great school year!

Crossing the Finish Line!!

Zeb ran in the Marshall County Hospice 5K run today! This was his first 5K and he finished in 25 minutes and 23 seconds! He also got the Bronze Medal in his age division! I am so proud of him and he is proud of himself!!

This is one of my favorite Christmas carols. Many years ago at a church my dad was pastoring an elderly gentleman sang this song. He walked to the front of the church in tattered clothing, long gray hair and beard and began to sing. It was beautiful! I'm not real sure how old Mr. Cooper was, but he lived many years after that Christmas and now he is singing with the Angel choir! Every time I hear "It Came Upon a Midnight Clear", I see and hear Mr. Cooper on that Christmas many years ago!
